I have no idea how many people read our blog, but... here's a question to you blog readers out there: would any of you be willing to give $30 a month to an orphan in Pakistan who desperately needs food and school?
For the last year I've sort of quarterbacked a team of six people from around the country who are supporting six orphans in Pakistan. Our $30 per month support provides them with food and the ability to go to school. I've communicated at least three or four times a week with our contact on the ground in Pakistan -- Pastor Emmanuel -- who is trustworthy and makes sure the money is spent entirely on food and education (as the pictures attest).
The pictures above are of a few of the orphans we already have sponsors for. But now I've been made aware of four more who need some help. Heidi and I are unable to expand our support, so I thought I'd throw it out to any of you who might've accidentally checked our blog today!
Would you consider it?
If so, just shoot me an email or post a comment. I'll answer all of your questions and then some. If you decide it's something you'd like to do, great! If you decide against it, no hard feelings!
If you decide to help, you'll be part of a "virtual orphan village" that we're creating and you'll be in on the ground floor. This is a grassroots movement. Your donation is tax deductible because we partner with a ministry called Adventures in Missions who takes no fee from your monthly support.
If you're interested, let me know! ASAP! Thanks!
